He is also engineer from Ecole Polytechnique (France) and from \u00c9cole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es (France), and received an M.S. in solid mechanics from \u00c9cole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es in 2002. He was awarded the 2016 EMI Leonardo da Vinci Award.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2008, he has been working at Laboratoire Navier (ENPC, CNRS, IFSTTAR) at \u00c9cole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es. He performs Materials Science applied to materials relevant for Civil and Petroleum Engineering (i.e., cementitious materials, coal, clay-based materials\u2026).
